The Amazfit T-Rex is made specifically for outdoor activities, and you can tell by its big and tough design with a strong polymer case and visible screws.

This watch has passed 15 tough tests given by the military to make sure it can handle extreme conditions. It can handle icy conditions, stay okay in very humid places for 240 hours, and work in extreme hot and cold weather.

You can choose between different colors for the case like black (which we tested), green, khaki, and a black and gold design. It comes with a 22mm silicone strap. The main thing you’ll see is a bright 1.39-inch touchscreen that shows vibrant colors and has a high resolution of 454 x 454. You can keep the screen always on if you like. There are also four buttons on the watch which are useful, especially if your hands are wet or cold and it’s hard to use the touchscreen.

On the back of the watch, there’s a sensor called the Amazfit BioTracker 3.0 PPG. It checks your heart rate and how much oxygen is in your blood. You’ll also charge the T-Rex 2 here, and it uses the same way of charging as many other new Amazfit watches.

Talking about size, it’s about 13.65mm thick and weighs 66g. If you compare that to the Garmin Fenix 7, they’re quite similar in weight and thickness.
